Now in its 8th year, Careers & Jobs Live is back with a bigger and better show than its record breaking event in 2007, showcasing national, regional and local recruitment and training opportunities to London job seekers.
New to Britainís largest Recruitment, Careers, Education and Training event this Spring will be The London & Thames Gateway Graduate Recruitment Fair. The fair will mainly focus on the London, Canary Wharf and the wider Thames Gateway, including south Essex and north Kent. It will provide graduates across the region with an excellent chance to meet and engage with some of the UKís leading employers.
Construction Web will be another new addition to Careers & Jobs Live, focusing on this leading employment sector within the Thames Gateway area. With the construction sector growing, it is a perfect opportunity for skilled and unskilled workers to learn about current vacancies including major regeneration projects such as London 2012, Stratford City, Silvertown Quays and Ebbsfleet. The event will also focus on other key growth industries including Retail, Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism, IT and the new Wellness & Beauty Zone offers advice and guidance within the Health & Beauty industry.
Careers & Jobs Live offers real opportunities for Londonís local population, including jobseekers and the unemployed, encouraging skill upgrades with advice for leading employers as well as over 50 training providers who can help with the right career path. The Thames Gateway Learning & Jobs Zone will also be back highlighting employers, support organisations and training providers within the Thames Gateway, Europeís largest regeneration project.
Whatís more, Careers & Jobs Live is still packed with interactive opportunities including free careers advice and coaching, free seminars and the free innovative CV multiplex where CV advice is available from dozens of specialists throughout the two days. The Walls of Opportunity & Training and this year the Wall of Opportunity 2012 will also be displaying thousands of live job vacancies and training opportunities available immediately.
