Voyager, the specialist recruitment software company for SMEs, today announces record first quarter results for 2007. During the first 3 months of the year Voyager has seen an overall increase in sales of 100%, with pre-tax profits more than tripling from 49,000 in the first quarter 06, to 135,000.
These results follow a period of steady profitable growth and ever-increasing market share for the recruitment software company, which has generated a total of 800k of pre-tax profits over the last three calendar years. This growth is an indicator of the success of the ever-improving Voyager portfolio ñ which has recently been extended to include the new back-office ëpay & billí products.
This growth has been driven by the ever-increasing need amongst small and medium sized recruitment agencies to automate the recruitment process end-to-end. With the digitisation of candidate data and instantaneous nature of the Internet these organisations are facing a new set of challenges in order to place candidates in a timely fashion and manage them efficiently.
Simon Warburton, MD of Voyager said, ìThis represents an excellent start to the year and is a resounding validation of all the work the Voyager team has been doing across the board.
ìIn 2005 and 2006, we invested heavily in the development of our Mid-Office product which provided the final link in the chain by integrating our front office product to automate timesheet processing, invoicing, payments, and commission calculations providing a complete ìPay and Billî solution. This product has received a warm reception as it allows our customers to manage their entire business end-to-end and has already made a significant contribution to our sales.î
Nick Ray, CEO of Voyagerís parent company Woodcote Software said, ìI am delighted with the performance of Voyager so far this year. With a raft of new customers already adopting the recently launched Mid-Office product and with further product announcements in the pipeline for this year, I am confident we can maintain our growth and build on this excellent start to the year.î
