Nadimís triple career success through online jobs board
24-year-old Nadim Choudhury from London has landed a new job as Marketing and Relationship Manager at the London Business School, thanks to a series of successful searches on an online jobs board, and is thriving in his role.
Bucking the trend for university graduates to strive to work in the City, Nadim began searching for education jobs. Having taken an active role at university as a voluntary student counsellor, Nadim wanted a job where he could develop his people skills but also apply his marketing and business knowledge. Since graduating he found all three of his roles from searching on a jobs board, and recommends online searches alongside the more traditional search methods.
When Nadim came to search for his first job, it was his university who advised him to use jobs.ac.uk. ìI found that online jobs boards such as jobs.ac.uk were a very efficient way to search because they are constantly updated, and so I never felt in danger of missing a golden opportunity. I was also able to tailor my searches rather than having to trawl through lots of irrelevant positions to find the ones that applied to me.
ìI still look once or twice a week on jobs boards, not for new positions but to keep myself up-to-date with what is out there, and assess the value of my current role.î
