Nexec partners outsources IT to The Internet Group

The Internet Group, a provider of IT support and consultancy services, has been retained by executive search practice Nexec Partners to manage their entire IT systems and security infrastructure. Nexec Partners can now focus on their core business of headhunting in the Information, Communications and Entertainment marketplace, without the need to worry about the technology that underpins their business. The firm started outsourcing to The Internet Group in August 2006, with the systems up and running within two weeks of the original sales meeting.

Thanks to The Internet Group, Nexec Partners employees now have access to a VPN (virtual private network), which allows employees to access their desktop and server files from home. This is particularly important as current working trends lean more and more towards mobile working and flexibility of the work day. This allows the management team to have greater control of who can access certain files on the server, therefore protecting the company against data theft.
