Ochre House Appoints Richard Martin as Chairman

Richard will contribute actively to Ochre Houseís strategy of developing a unique portfolio of specialist recruitment and outsourcing capabilities

Ochre House has appointed Richard Martin as chairman. With an extensive senior-management legacy in the human resource sector, Richard will contribute actively to Ochre Houseís strategy of developing a unique portfolio of specialist recruitment and outsourcing capabilities.

ìThis chairmanship offers me an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering recruitment solutions group,î says Richard. ìWith a divisional structure that embraces not only traditional recruitment but also cutting edge recruitment outsourcing solutions from the outset, Ochre House was never going to be a vanilla recruitment company - I aim to help it fulfill its potential as an HR solutions provider.î

Chris Herrmannsen, group managing director of Ochre House, says: ìOchre House provides recruitment, strategic resourcing and recruitment outsourcing solutions to a diverse range of clients in the public, commercial and professional services sectors. Having previously led organisations such as Adecco (UK) and NHS Professionals, Richardís experience and knowledge reflects that diversity and will be invaluable to helping us achieve our strategic goals. In addition, he is a respected figure in the recruitment industry with a strong understanding of changing HR practices. I look forward to having his expertise on board.î

Ochre House was formed in August 2006 as the result of a management buyout (MBO) from the Trinity Mirror Group led by Chris Herrmannsen, and backed by NBGI Private Equity (ëNBGIPEí), the buyout specialist.
