A specialist IT Recruitment Consultancy has opened in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. JLI Europe is the only consultancy in the North East specialising in servicing the IT Sector.
The company has moved into a twenty man office with divisions in IT, Telecoms, Creative and Design and Headhunting.
Managing Director Jason King moved to the North East from London six years ago and, spotting a need for a specialist IT Recruitment Consultancy based in the area, started JLI Europe. He said ìÖin previous years there have been a few nationals who have tried and failed to service the IT market in the North East. We aim to service both North East clients and the IT market nationally. All too often we see clients having to use companies in Leeds, Manchester and London for IT requirements. The difference with JLI Europe is consultants have that regional experience of the North East coupled with the ability of the company as a whole to operate nationally.

Consultants tend to take on jobs across the whole IT sector and the only differentiator is whether the role is Permanent or Temporary. At JLI Europe our consultants specialise in specific area of IT such as Web development, Oracle, SAP etc As such this means that we will be more specialised than our North East competitors which means that we will service clients needs better. This also means that JLI Europe will mirror successful London based IT Recruitment Consultancies in terms of structure. The reason I decided to open JLI Europe in the end was borne out of frustration working for other people who continuously insisted upon adopting this agency structure where IT was a small part of a much bigger agency. Now JLI Europe is the only IT Recruitment Consultancy in the area and we will be successful.î
JLI Europe also plan to give opportunities to new graduates from Computing Science backgrounds and reward them with a lucrative salary, incentive scheme and training. The company plans to be aggressive in tackling the IT recruitment market and plans are already in place to open a twin office in London in 3 to 4 months time.
