Dillistone Group Plc, the AIM listed supplier of recruitment software, is pleased to announce that its preliminary results for the year that ended on the 31st of December 2006 have been very positive.

Commenting on these results, Jason Starr, Managing Director at Dillistone, commented: ìThe year ended 31st December 2006 was another excellent one for the Group. Globally, revenue grew by 30% to 3,301,362, with profit before tax increasing by 44% to 923,118. This, in a 12 month period which also saw the flotation of the Company, is by far the best result for the Company since its formation. Furthermore, this headline growth figure is underpinned by record profit contributions from each of our regional businesses.î

In February 2007 Dillistone had reported that the order intake in the final quarter of 2006 had been the highest ever recorded by the group since its formation, as this encouraging trend has continued with order intake for the beginning of this year to be significantly ahead for the same period last year, especially with the release of FILEFINDER 8, the newest software version.

Jason Starr added:î Our performance in our core ìexecutive searchî market has been good, with a total of 112 new sales to executive search firms, spread across 31 countries. In addition, our strategy of expanding beyond our core ìexecutive searchî market has shown early signs of success with sales to corporate organisations ranging from financial services groups to software houses and media organisations and we are pleased to list a number of Fortune 100 organisations as clients.î

Jim McLaughlin, Chairman of the Board for Dillistone, reported: ìThe outlook for the retained executive search market remains positive throughout the world, and the Board believes that the outcome for the year as a whole will be very satisfactory. Looking beyond 2006, the trend for the adoption of our FILEFINDER software by large corporate clients gives comfort that the group will continue to deliver further growth.î
