Bullhorn releases results of online sourcing survey.
Bullhorn today released the results of its online staffing solution survey. Of 205 survey respondents, 56 percent said Internet job boards are their most productive source of candidates. Eight percent of respondents said newspaper ads are the most productive, and 6 percent indicated that job fairs are their most productive source. Finally, 30 percent of respondents listed other, which includes referrals and social networks.
The results of the Bullhorn online sourcing survey align with predicted trends for 2007. According to a recent article from Kevin Wheeler at ERE.net, corporate websites and job boards like Monster and CareerBuilder.com that have advanced search options will eventually replace other methods of sourcing candidates such as direct and personal referrals. Bullhorn’s Dragnet enables recruiters to create candidate search agents against open job orders in Bullhorn’s staffing solution, selecting multiple job boards and sites to search and harvest resumes. Once a search is completed, Dragnet automatically parses the highest ranked candidates into Bullhorn’s staffing and recruiting software, transforming the sourcing of candidates from a laborious, single minded task into a highly automated process that allows the recruiter to focus on the quality and speed of making multiple placements.
Each week, Bullhorn posts a brief survey on its website for the thousands of staffing and recruiting professionals who visit www.Bullhorn.com, which is one of the industry’s most visited websites with 40,000 unique visitors each month and more than 5 million page requests daily.
