Six top achievers at Westaff were named in this yearís honours listÖ..! However, it wonít be the Queen who will be greeting the team ñ it will be managing director, David Mogford, who has launched a new initiative which will see the companyís top performers offered membership to an exclusive Honours Club.
Ask Mogford the reasons behind the change in tack and heís quick to list a host of reasons, but, more than anything else, it comes down to giving his team the recognition it deserves:
ìItís been said that success without honour is an unseasoned dish ñ it will satisfy your hunger, but it wonít taste good. Westaff Honours Club is a straightforward concept ñ it presents the company with an outlet to acknowledge our high achievers while also inviting these individuals to add additional value to the business itself.ì Mogford adds, ìIt complements the traditional pay bonus by publicly recognising that these top performers have a wealth of ideas, knowledge and passion to share.î
The six Honours Club members ñ including representatives from all levels of the company, from branch administration through to area management - will attend senior management meetings throughout the 2006/2007 fiscal year.
The companyís 120 employees have already embraced the aspirational nature of the Honours Club, with individuals and teams already exceeding targets, prompting Mogford to predict higher than anticipated business growth for the prospering firm.
In a presentation scheduled to take place at the Ritz Hotel in London in March, Mogford will officially inaugurate the six founding Westaff Honours Club members. Additionally, Mogford confirms that upon receipt of the title for the third time, members will be, thereby, granted a life-time membership.
