GAAPweb first choice for accounting and finance job seekers

GAAPweb has been confirmed as the number one choice among senior accounting and finance professionals by the latest NORAS survey. Currently 78% of GAAPweb users are working in accounting and finance, up from 75% last year and ahead of all direct competitors.

The online recruitment industry survey showed GAAPweb came top in a number of areas relating to the recruitment of senior accountants, qualified finance professionals and related managerial roles.

66% of GAAPweb users have a professional qualification, such as CIMA or ACCA, significantly more than competitor sites, and more than double the survey average (18%)
80% of GAAPweb users have five or more years experience, way ahead of sector competitors, while over two thirds (69%) work as managers or higher, significantly more than the survey average.

Drawn from a broad mix of generalist and specialist job boards, NORAS is the industryís annual survey of visitors to online recruitment resources, building a profile of typical users.

Jobs sites a key job seeking resource
The NORAS 2006 report reflects the high value of the Internet and of online jobs sites as a key job seeking resource. 72% of all participants had applied for a job found online, 65% of those had obtained an interview and 56% of interviewees had gone on to obtain jobs.

GAAPweb users were particularly ëjobs site savvyí compared to the survey average. 81% of users had applied for a job online and 68% had secured an interview for a job found online.
