Highlights this month
eGMS ñ so much for the governmentís push for meeting a mandatory requirement; with 73% of central and 42% local government websites failing the requirements on every single page, dreadful that the website (direct.gov.uk) and the cabinet office (and their e-gov site) fail on every page, as did Number 10Ö ñ and as for the eGIF accreditation site (eGMS being a major element of eGIF) this site also fails on every page.
New number ones in both local and central government, well done to Kirklees and the Health and Safety Executive. At the bottom of the local government report is again Dungannon & South Tyrone, with the poorest site in central government being NHS Direct.
As for site quality, GOVTALK didnít do very well at all, nearly 10,000 problems with site (e.g. broken links, DNS & email issues, missing file etc)
As for performance, a very poor result for Weymouth this month, many hundreds of time slower than the better performing sitesÖ.. Performance in general across the siteís showed slight improvements.
