Onrec Awards 2006 - Winners Announced

The 2nd Onrec.com Awards Ceremony took place last night in the Cafe Royal, London with 215 people attending. Industry leaders from the UK joined guests from USA and South Africa.

After a champagne reception guests sat down to an excellent dinner followed by a charity auction, prior to the main event. The Auction raised 5500 for the children’s charity Whizz-Kidz who gives disabled children the means to get around and lead a more active childhood at home, at play and at school. The essential mobility equipment, wheelchair training and advice that Whizz-Kidz provides is life changing for children and their families across the UK. The Awards celebrate the innovation shown by the Online recruitment industry in marketing and technology. Online recruitment lacks the access to the market that many industries enjoy, as it is rarely publicised in the traditional media. As a result, online recruiters have had to work harder to be seen, said the eveningís host David Hurst, Publisher of Onrec.com.

This year additional Awards recognised Technical Innovation, Best use of Online Recruitment by Corporates and an International Suppliers.
