Back to Work - Job Ads Rally - The Olivier Internet Job Index

The Olivier Internet Job Index rose 6.06% (seasonally adjusted) in January. Jobs ads picked up massively during the month. There were 48,000 more ads in week 4 than in week 1. It really bounced back in weeks 3 and 4, matching the return of the workforce, says Robert Olivier, a Director of the Olivier Group. One more week like that and we’ll be back to November levels, the pre-Christmas high. That would be in line with last year’s rebound. On a 12 month basis the number of jobs on line is up 29.2%.
