The Human Capital Institute (HCI), announced today that its Founding Sponsors have renewed, and in most cases increased their sponsorship for 2006. Over the past three months, HCI’s original underwriters, including Monster, Recruitmax, Webhire, Taleo, Unicru, AIRS, Peopleclick, BrassRing and the Center for Talent Retention, have renewed their commitment to the organization.
With Founding Sponsors’ support, HCI serves the needs of talent managers, executives, educators, and other leadership professionals, while advancing talent management practices. Sponsorship enables HCI to hold conferences, executive workshops, Thought Leader panels, Webcasts, and other programs aimed at stimulating strategic thinking and improving human capital practitioner effectiveness.
Human Capital Institute events focus on five key areas, which HCI calls Communities: Talent Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Talent Leadership, and Talent Solutions. Within each of these Communities are specific tracks. Talent Strategy, for example, addresses such critical issues as Future Labor Trends, HR Outsourcing, and Employer Branding, among other areas. Sponsors typically choose to support Community tracks that complement their areas of business expertise.
Sponsor support is also instrumental in furthering the organization’s many educational, research, collaborative, and philanthropic efforts.
It may sound like a clich, but in this instance a clich really does say it best: The support of our founding sponsors has been the cornerstone of our success, said Allan Schweyer, HCI’s Executive Director. We are grateful that these fine organizations, all leaders in the human capital field, have contributed to HCI, and we’re extremely pleased they have renewed their commitment.
