s1jobs, Scotlandís recruitment website, served almost exactly 100 million web pages in 2005. The site was visited more than six million times by 1.9 million unique users, making it one of Scotlandís busiest websites.
s1 Managing Director Mark Smith said: ì100 million page impressions represents a 50% increase on our 2004 traffic levels. And with the vast majority of our users residing in Scotland itís evidence of both the strength of the Scottish job market in 2005 and the ever-increasing size of Scotlandís internet community. We estimate that there are around 3.5 million internet users in Scotland, so to have more than half of them using a site that focuses solely on recruitment is testimony to how ubiquitous s1jobs has become. No other recruitment media, online or traditional, comes even close.î
Smith continued: ìs1jobs is also leading the way in providing recruiters with independently verified traffic statistics. Weíre the only Scottish recruitment site to have published stats audited by ABC Electronic and we look forward next month to the publication of the latest National Online Recruitment Audience Survey results, which will be the biggest ever survey of the UK online recruitment industry.î
