SEEK traffic under-reported:
Nielsen//NetRatings wish to advise that data previously released for October 2005, under-reported the true volume of Unique Browser traffic to the Australian employment site SEEK.
Due to a configuration issue that inadvertently excluded data from our market intelligence reporting, the traffic to SEEK for the month of October 2005 was under reported by 164,282 Unique Browsers.
This correction takes the volume of Unique Browsers to SEEK for October 2005 from the previously reported figure of 1,538,203 to a revised total of 1,702,485.
The configuration error has not affected reporting for November 2005 data, which accurately shows an increase in traffic to SEEK to 1,733,488 Unique Browsers.
It appears the configuration error has resulted in the under-reporting of Unique Browser traffic to SEEK by approximately 8% to 10% from April 2005 to October 2005.
Nielsen//NetRatings expects to shortly release SEEKís revised Unique Browser traffic for the eight month period April ñ November 2005.
