International Technology Partners Worldwide (ITP Worldwide), an alliance of independent boutique executive search firms focused on technology clients worldwide, today announced the appointment of new officers and Board members resulting from its Barcelona conference held in October.
Patrick Galpin, managing partner of Stratum Executive Search Group headquartered in Toronto, Canada, was appointed chairman. Hale Cochran, partner at Polachi & Company in Sherborn, Massachusetts, was appointed chief administrative officer.
The newly restructured Board consists of Patrick Galpin; Hale Cochran; Andrew Price, partner at Schweichler, Price and Partners in Silicon Valley, representing the Americas; Eric Dieny, president of EMS Consulting in Shanghai, representing Asia Pacific; and Etienne Reeners, managing partner of Hightech Partners in Brussels, representing Europe.
Patrick Galpin is an executive search veteran with more than 18 years of experience in conducting CEO, Board of Directors, general management and vice presidential assignments for the technology sector. In his role as ITP Worldwide chairman, he will coordinate the management of all alliance strategic initiatives and Board activities, and recruit new member firms.
Hale Cochran has over 30 years of experience in the high technology, information services and manufacturing industries. His search practice is focused on recruiting CEOs and senior functional executives for early-stage, high-growth or turnaround technology companies. As chief administrative officer of ITP Worldwide, Hale will manage member communications, Web development, database administration financial reporting and other administrative processes for the alliance.
The newly appointed Board members represent the experience in technology executive search and deep regional knowledge that is a hallmark of ITP Worldwide member firms. Andy Price has spent over 10 years in the Bay Area technology community. He conducts searches for CEOs and vice presidents of Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, Finance, Operations and Customer Service/Support. Eric Dieny has been residing in the Greater China region since 1982. He runs offices in Shanghai and Taipei and specializes in assignments for top executive positions in semiconductors, electronic manufacturing, wireless, telecom, IT, networking, storage, PC, consumer electronics, pharmaceuticals, biotech, venture capital and private equity. Etienne Reeners has over 15 years of experience in executive search. He has conducted numerous pan-European assignments on behalf of multi-national information technology companies for CEOs, vice presidents, general managers and functional executive positions.
In addition to appointing a new roster of officers and Board members, a key goal of the Barcelona conference was to map a growth strategy for ITP Worldwide. The conference yielded initiatives for the next twelve months that address new member recruitment, global accounts, standards/best practices and audit.
