Jobs 4 Medical is a new niche online medical recruitment website targeting the medical profession. The site launched on 1 October 2005, and there has been a fantastic response to vacancies being posted, and traffic to the site.
The site caters for Social and Care Workers / Nurses / Doctors / Specialist Consultants / Dental staff / Medical Admin and Management / Pharmacy and Scientific & Technical jobs, as well as Allied Health Care Practitioners such as Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Occupational Therapists
User friendly functionality for both candidates and employers was of prime importance in the development of the site. Employers and Agencies are able to select the format of the CVís that they receive and Candidates have a copy & paste CV template for ease of registration, whilst also providing guidelines on the format of the CV.
The site contains relevant links such as NHS salary scales, medical statutory bodies, information for overseas workers, conferences and events that may be of interest to medical professionals. There is a customised ìLunchtime Linksî page containing general information such as travel / insurance / weather and other topics of interest. It is the intention that Jobs 4 Medical becomes a one-stop shop for all medical related events, information sites and events and jobs.
Since launching the site has been fine tuned according to what the traffic stats were indicating. The site modifications have enhanced traffic and CV registrations and now with the refinements in place, the Jobs 4 Medical Team are working on Phase 2 of the development with is hoped to be completed by early 2006.
