West Berkshire Council has announced plans to continue their relationship with Northgate HR

West Berkshire Council has announced plans to continue their relationship with Northgate HR, with a decision to implement Northgateís ResourceLink HR and payroll solution. The 9 year contract replaces Unipay and Opendoor - former Rebus HR solutions, before Rebus was acquired by the Northgate group in 2004.



Following a phased implementation of core HR and payroll including recruitment and training modules for back office, self service will be rolled out to the Councilís employees across multiple sites. Employees will be able to manage their own affairs by recording sickness and booking holidays online, in place of traditional paper based processes.

The contract will enable the Council to automate many current manual tasks, reduce duplication, and provide improved management information, saving time and increasing efficiency. ResourceLink will provide the Council with the opportunity to develop and introduce an innovative approach to interfacing with the local schools current HR system.
