Enterprise week 2005 - 14-20 November

Inspire young people to make their mark: through business start-ups, social enterprise and as enterprising employees celebrate enterprise across the UK

Enterprise Week is a national celebration of enterprise backed by the Make Your Mark ñ start talking ideas campaign: the first national campaign of its kind to foster a culture of enterprise among young people in the UK.

In 2004, 158,000 people attended 1,172 Enterprise Week events run by 481 organisations across the whole of the UK.

Enterprise Week 2004 was just the beginning. This year the goal is to engage and inspire more young people and catalyse more debate about the importance of enterprise among politicians, business, education, the media, young people and the wider public.

By 2008 the campaign aims to double the number of young people who aspire to run their own company.
