WisdomNet Inc. and the Kanaber-Meyer Group of Merrill Lynch teamed to host the New York Times best-selling author at a private 3-hour seminar at the Brown Palace

Notable business leaders, including NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue, GlaxoSmithKline CEO Dr. Jean-Pierre Garnier and former Texaco chairman and CEO Peter Bijur, claim Michael Treacyís insight into business to be wisdom at its best.

Today heíll be advising Denver-based executives.

WisdomNet Inc. and the Kanaber-Meyer Group of Merrill Lynch teamed to host the New York Times best-selling author at a private 3-hour seminar at the Brown Palace.

The author of The Discipline of Market Leaders and Double Digit Growth coached leaders from companies such as Level 3, Johns Manville, Comcast and Denver BioMedical on ways to build competitive advantage through innovation.

ìDenver continues to be a breeding ground for creative, emerging companies,î notes Ron Kubit, Senior Vice President for WisdomNet, Inc. ìWe want to encourage our leaders to continually innovate, change and grow.î

Merrill Lynch partner Dan Meyer agrees, noting; ìTo compete in todayís market companies must strive for thought leadership. Mr. Treacy can show them the way.î

A former professor of management at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Treacy has led hundreds of companies to achieve business growth through extensive research and consulting experience. One such example is Crest Whitestrips, which Treacy developed, providing Procter and Gamble with market leadership at a time when customer demands have forced businessí to cater to a higher level of demand in quality, offerings and cost.

ìIn markets crowded with me-too products,î notes Treacy, ìit is more important than ever that product leaders aim higher for truly breakthrough products. But it takes disciplined leaders to make it happen.î

In a rare joint appearance, Treacy was joined by Sam Kogan, his partner in consulting firm Gen3 Partners. Kogan holds a PhD in material science and has managed research and development for many companies in the U.S. Russia and Japan.
