Norman Broadbent International are delighted to announce that Beverley Hodson OBE has agreed to join the business as a Member of The Advisory Board for NBIís Consumer and Retail Practice.
Beverleyís expertise and experience of the retail industry is second to none and she will contribute a new depth of industry knowledge to this practice sector for NBI. Beverley was previously Managing Director of WH Smith UK Retail and a Group Board Director; earlier in her career she was Managing Director of Dolcis and Cable & Co at Sears PLC and Managing Director of Childrens World (now Mothercare World) at Boots PLC.
Beverley is currently a non-executive director of Legal & General PLC. She was previously a non-executive director of M&G Group PLC (now part of Prudential PLC) and GWR Trent FM local radio and a board member of the Yorkshire and North Humberside Regional Development Agency.
Educated at Cambridge, Beverley has maintained an active interest in Education, Health and the Arts. In 1994 she was Midlands Business Woman of the Year, and in 2003, she received an OBE for services to retail.
