Local company expands

After a significant growth in their third year of trading, an Ilkley based technology company, Short Message Services Ltd., is expanding itsí product portfolio. Sales & Marketing Director Justin Steele said:

The Mobile Data Association (http://www.mda-mobiledata.org/) reports that
UK text messaging figures for the month of September 2004 reached 2.13 billion. Person-to-person texts sent across the UK GSM network operators in the same month show an increase of almost 23% on the total sent during the same period in 2003. As these figures continue to show, texting is being used by more of the population for an increasing number of reasons, business communication being one of them.
