CIPD conference to investigate and debate reward strategies

CIPD Annual Reward Conference 2005, 9 February, Olympia London

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Reward Management survey will be launched at the CIPD Annual Reward Conference 2005, on 9 February 2005. The research and the conference will investigate the current and emerging practice in reward management and provide insights into the issues that are driving the reward agenda.

The conference includes a pensions debate with a panel of experts who will share their views on the changes that are needed and discuss key issues facing organisations. Speakers include David Willetts MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Christine Farnish, Chief Executive, National Association of Pension Funds and Kay Carberry, Assistant General Secretary, TUC.

Other subjects on the agenda include:

Pay in the Public Sector - introducing new pay frameworks and managing the impact of the changes.

Rewarding Performance - using performance management.

Speakers at the event include Trevor Blackman, Head of Reward, Royal Bank of Scotland and Malcolm Douglas, Remuneration and Benefits manager, British American Tobacco Plc on Measuring the Impact of Reward.
