The launch takes place as the company celebrates its third year of business as a niche technical recruitment consultancy. The service is designed to meet the highly specific requirements of the sector and bring the desired results for employers and candidates alike.
Proveya established the service after realising that many scientific companies spent long periods of time with critical vacancies going unfilled. It believes there is a place in the market for a consultancy that provides the specialist expertise, knowledge, advice and support to the high standards that the industry deserves.
Proveya has appointed industry expert Pauline Gunter to head up service. She joins the firm with a nine-year scientific background with Proctor and Gamble and BP Research, before she became a Science Recruitment Consultant five years ago. Pauline brings with her an excellent national network and an ability to talk the language of science at the appropriate level. This enables her to facilitate an accurate match of skilled scientific personnel to clientsí specialist needs.
Responding to market needs, the service offers a host of jobs that includes analysts, microbiologists, molecular biologists, chemists and physicists at all levels of experience. The company works across all industries including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemicals, FMCG, defence and environmental.
Pauline talks of her enthusiasm about the role, I am very excited about launching the new service and making Proveya the first port-of-call for employers when sourcing scientific personnel. We have already facilitated many successful introductions and I am looking forward to revealing the benefits of Proveyaís service to new clients. The appointment of Pauline underlines the companyís client-focused approach to niche recruitment.
Over the last two years Proveya (which is a commercial adaptation of Supplier in Spanish), has worked with local and national organisations to meet their specific needs for skilled personnel in technology, defence and sales. Its track record in these sectors will springboard the growth of the scientific service in what is a key growth market.
Sandy Palmer, Managing Director of Proveya comments: One of our goals is to meet the recruitment needs of niche market sectors. This enables us to address core recruitment issues in the sector, be fully responsive to opportunity and deliver real added value for clients. Whatís more, our niche approach to recruitment means we are able to meet the demand for highly skilled staff, often when other consultancies are unable to fill the vacancy.
The niche service offers access to a comprehensive range of contract and permanent services that span the entire recruitment process. The service allows companies to concentrate on their core business, while Pauline focuses on applicant recruitment, evaluation and screening. Pauline embodies all of the characteristics that we identified as critical to maximise this opportunity and we are delighted that she has joined our team, adds Sandy.
The announcement coincides with the launch of Proveyaís new recruitment website (proveya.co.uk). The site was developed in partnership with Southampton based WSI Internet Consulting and Education (wsi-internet4business.com), which provides business focused web services to small and medium enterprises throughout Hampshire and Wiltshire.
