The Cityís leading law firms and barristersí chambers will be meeting on Tuesday 30 November 2004 at the Honourable Society of Grayís Inn to unveil a Diversity in Law ëStatement of Intentí highlighting their commitment to bringing more varied perspectives, experiences, backgrounds and the widest pool of talent into their firms.

Chaired by Giles White, Global head of finance and projects at Linklaters, keynote speakers will include Stephen J. Dannhauser, Chairman, Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP, Michael Francies, UK Managing Partner, Weil, Gotshal & Manges, and Yolande Beckles, CEO Global Graduates.

Organised by Global Graduates, in conjunction with Michael Page Legal, the Diversity in Law breakfast seminar will discuss the importance of diversity in recruitment, retention and promotion of talent within the legal profession. In addition, the seminar will highlight the benefits of the ’diversity dividend’ and its importance given recent and impending UK legislation relating to diversity and corporate governance, as well as sharing best practise from overseas.
