Top headhunter and HR specialist, Veredus Executive Resourcing, has appointed David Welsh to head up its growing and increasingly sophisticated research and knowledge management team.
David, who joined Veredus in January 2003 as a Managing Consultant specialising in health and central government, will be strengthening Veredusí position as a market leader in the areas of international and cross sector recruitment.
David said: ìVeredus rightly prides itself on its ability to attract international, diverse and cross sector candidates into the recruitment process, giving our clients a broad range of people to choose from.
ìWe believe that a recruitersí role is to work in partnership with its clients, to challenge outdated stereotypes of what a candidate should look like and to bring the best candidates to the table every time. To enable us to achieve this, particularly in an ever-changing market, research both into the candidates themselves and into the strategic direction of the businesses we serve, is vital.
ìThe importance of continuing to develop and grow our research function as well as our knowledge management systems cannot be over-stated and this is what I am here to do.î
Davidís main priorities in the coming months will be to strengthen Veredusí knowledge management systems, increase the level of candidate research in international and private sector markets and to support business development through strategic research.
David started his headhunting career with A T Kearney Executive Search after working in the NHS as Assistant Secretary of the Nuffield Trust.
