LEADING executive search consultancy Maxwell Drummond International are set to double the size of their American operation and have appointed a new vice president to spearhead the expansion.
Kevin Davidson, 31, has been promoted to vice president in charge of the Americas and will lead the search and selection specialistís Houston-based team with responsibility for all operations in the USA, Canada and South America.
Aberdeen-based MDI are one of the worldís largest independent executive search firms specialising in recruitment exclusively for the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
Mr Davidson will focus on the rapid expansion of MDIís American operation which is forecast to double in size in the next 12 months.
A former business development executive with Scottish Enterprise, Mr Davidson joined MDI in May 2001 and was quickly promoted to business development manager and latterly operations manager responsible for the UK.
A business studies graduate from The Robert Gordon University and with an MSc in economics from Salford University, Mr Davidson has also been on the board of trustees at the International School of Aberdeen for three years.
