Innovator of the Year title at the annual ATSCo awards

UK based job posting and applicant tracking company, Broadbean Technology, has scooped the much coveted Innovator of the Year title at the annual ATSCo (Association of Technology Staffing Companies) awards ceremony and charity ball.

The award, for the company which has conceived and brought to the IT staffing industry the most innovative or pioneering idea over the past 12 months, focussed on the company’s Aplitrak product, launched in February 2004. The applicant tracking and CV routing capabilities of Aplitrak were deemed to be much needed in the industry based on the large number of recruiters adopting the technology.

The judging panel, consisting of Recruiter editor Karen Dempsey; industry consultant Stephen Peerless; Barclay’s David McHattie and award sponsor Steve Zahab of LSM had this to say For a very young company, the panel were most impressed by the enthusiasm and responsible approach the principals of the business had demonstrated in taking their innovation to market. It is evident by virtue of the industry take up of their offering, that it is an innovative service clearly needed and appreciated by its end users, because it undoubtedly contributes towards improving sales and resourcing productivity ratios and controls.

ATSCo Chief Executive Ann Swain commented I’m thrilled that the judging panel on behalf of ATSCo chose Broadbean as Innovator of the Year. This is a truly deserved award and we congratulate the Broadbean team for an exceptional product and level of customer service. Well done!

Dan McGuire, Managing Director of Broadbean whose clients include industry giants and ATSCo members such as Spring; Modis; Alexander Mann and MSB said of the award We are absolutely thrilled to win such a notable accolade in only our second year of trading. I commend my team for the effort and commitment they have shown over the last couple of years and am extremely pleased that their hard work has been rewarded in such a fine way.

Broadbean’s user base currently stands in excess of 2,500 recruiters across the UK and Europe. They distribute more than 1.5 million adverts per year and anticipate that Aplitrak will process in excess of 3 million candidate applications over the next 12 months.
