Key Personnel (Midlands) Ltd declared a profit of 450k before tax on a turnover of 4m for the year-end June 2004. With 5 offices in the East Midlands, Key are looking to expand across the East Midlands and to open their first office in London in January 2005. Key has been successfully trading in the East Midlands since 1985 and will therefore be celebrating its 20th Birthday next year.
Even though the recruitment market decreased by 5.1% from 2002 to 2003 and has continued to decline, Key Personnel has continued to grow and increase its profitability. Pam Pindar the Managing Director of Key Personnel commented,

The strong customer service emphasis is also apparent in Key Personnelís sister company PBS (UK) Ltd. Based at the Nottingham Head Office PBS provides Payroll Services in the UK and overseas. The overseas payroll service is through a strong working alliance with Ernst & Young, as well as a number of independent providers.
