REC named as tenth best non-profit company to work for in the UK

The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) has achieved tenth place on the Best Companies list of the best not-for-profit bodies for work for. This was revealed at the Best Companies Live Q2 2022 event on 20 May 2022.

The REC was also named as the 74th best small company to work for in the UK, and 21st on the list of the best small companies to work for in London.

In 2021 the organisation launched a four-week feel-good campaign to help boost employees’ mental and physical health as a response to the pandemic. This included small daily tasks and a company-wide steps challenge, which saw them collectively walk the distance from the UK to Germany.

The REC has also encouraged employees to share their personal stories during Mental Health Awareness Week, inspiring colleagues to be mindful and take care of their own mental health, as well as training a group of mental health first aiders to provide support where needed.

Tracey Marshall, Head of HR at the REC, said:

“The recognition of the REC as a great place to work and as one of the best not-for profits and best small companies to work for in the UK is great news for our employees and management. We’re proud of the positive, supportive environment we’ve created, which has helped us all to manage the unique demands of the past two years. By listening to staff and constantly trying to improve what we do, we help to ensure that everyone can feel good about what they do and succeed in their work.”
