CV-Library named ‘Employer of the Year’ at South Coast Business Awards

The UK’s leading independent job board, CV-Library, is proud to announce that it won the ‘Employer of the Year’ award at last night’s South Coast Business Awards, recognising the company’s commitment to providing an exciting working environment, where driven individuals can thrive.

The prestigious awards, which took place at St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton, celebrate business excellence across the region, recognising and showcasing the achievements of key organisations in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

This is the first year that CV-Library has won this award, acknowledging the company’s dedication to investing in its employees and prioritising work/life balance and the welfare of its staff.

Lee Biggins, founder and CEO of CV-Library comments: “We understand our employees are our greatest asset, so investing in them is crucial to our success. We have some fantastic success stories of employees who have climbed up the ranks in our business and the last few years have been a real step change for our company as we work to establish consistent practises in the workplace.

“From growing our senior management team, to introducing new annual review forms, perks and HR policies, we’re constantly exploring ways to make our workplace even better and it’s fantastic to be recognised for these efforts.”

CV-Library was established in 2000 by founder and CEO, Lee Biggins. Since then, the business has grown to nearly 230 members of staff, with offices in Fleet, London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.

Biggins continues: “In the current market, companies have to focus on pushing their employer brand in order to stand out from the competition. People want to work in businesses where they feel valued and invested in and this is a huge priority for us. Our efforts are clearly paying off and we are looking forward to seeing what the next 12 months has in store for us.”
