A training and recruitment firm has celebrated its first year in Coventry and Rugby after placing hundreds of people in to jobs and training hundreds more in vital industry qualifications.

Jobs specialist eResponse branched out to open an office on Coventry’s Greyfriars Road last March, closely followed by the opening of their Rugby base in May 2014. They now employ 9 people in Coventry and have built a team of 11 at their Valley Drive office and training centre in Rugby.

In its first 12 months the firm has gone on to place over 1500 local people into temporary and permanent positions, including 350 posts for UK Mail’s new national hub in Coventry.

Its blue-chip clients include Concorde Logistics, Hi Logistics, Coventry Chemicals, Freemans and wholesaler Palmer & Harvey.

300 people have also been trained in eResponse’s Rugby-based Fork Lift Truck Training School so far.

Nicky Grogan, regional manager for eResponse in Coventry and Warwickshire, said:

“It has been an absolutely outstanding first year for us in both Coventry and Rugby.

“We’ve built on the success of our other branches and importantly for the local economy here in Coventry and Warwickshire, the quality of candidates coming through our doors has been exceptional. That has helped us place them into a variety of manual and office roles in and around the local areas.

“It is a source of enormous pride that we have helped literally hundreds of local people into work as well as providing hundreds more with the training and industry qualifications they crave.

“We’re proof that the right job and the right applicant are only ever just around the corner from each other.”
