Multi award-winning legal recruitment experts Douglas Scott have boosted their headcount again with the appointment of Christine Smith to their In House legal recruitment team. Christine, who will be based in Douglas Scott’s head office in Manchester has over 15 years’ experience with the C&I Group, the member organisation for lawyers working in commerce & industry. Douglas Scott – who have offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds, now employ 52 people having made 12 new appointments so far in 2015.
As the Operations Manager at C&I Group, Christine was responsible for increasing awareness of the In-House sector utilising various platforms, specifically social networks and the development of networking events. The team will work together to produce and host social events and round table discussions. The creation of a peer to peer learning platform will strengthen the support offered to candidates and clients. The team will also offer market information and insight, and salary and benefits benchmarking, with the overall aim to be able to provide a full scale support system.
Currently achieving a CV to interview ratio of 1.6:1, the In-House team at Douglas Scott looks to improve this further still by offering the additional support that will help candidates perform to the best of their abilities and make the most of their on-going learning.
