According to figures released by recruitment software provider, Recruitive, the Financial Services industry has experienced a flying start to the year in terms of the number of jobs advertised within the sector.
The number of financial services vacancies advertised so far in 2015, via Recruitive’s multi-job posting solution, is 8.7% higher than the same time period last year.
Figures released by Statistics Portal, Statista, show that the number of employees within the financial services sector, in London, stood at 345,400 in 2014, and this is expected to rise to 352,300 by the end of 2015.
Carla Fern, Operations Director at Recruitive says: “It is great to see encouraging signs for this job market following the hit of the recession. Although the number of jobs available is no-where near the levels of 2007, all the signs are positive.”
Fern continues; “Our multi job posting software is integrated with over 1,500 job boards and a number of these are specialists within the financial services sector. Going forward we plan to add more to our panel to cope with the expected increase in the number of jobs opportunities available within this arena.”
