Grass Roots, the world’s leading provider of employee and customer engagement solutions, is delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Basel as Sales Director for strategic meetings management in the Meetings & Events division of the Grass Roots Germany business.
Michael Basel joins Grass Roots on 1 October and will be based at Grass Roots’ Düsseldorf office. Working with David Taylor, Sales Director for The Grass Roots Group, Michael will be responsible for establishing a dedicated strategic meetings management arm in Germany, developing and maintaining senior business relationships and actively pursuing opportunities for the global business.
Michael Basel moves from CWT Meetings & Events, where he held various key sales roles for the Germany/Austria business, most recently as Head of Program Management for CWT Meetings & Events Central Europe. A host of previous roles in the events industry space reinforce his expertise and experience.
Grass Roots Germany offers all four divisional specialisms: Employee Solutions, Customer Engagement, Promotions & Incentives and Meetings & Events, but sees a large proportion of its activities in the Meetings & Events space, with large long-standing clients from various sectors.
