Futurestep, part of Korn/Ferry International and the industry leader in recruitment services for global businesses, has been named a ‘Star Performer 2012’ within the Everest Group’s annual ‘RPO service provider landscape and capability assessment’ report. It is one of just six providers to be given this title. It was also acclaimed as a major contender in recruitment process outsourcing (RPO).
The ranking was determined by Everest Group’s comprehensive evaluation framework PEAK Matrix, which analyzed the Performance, Experience, Ability and Knowledge of Futurestep and more than 20 other established RPO service providers.
Futurestep’s delivery footprint was identified as a particular area of strength, referencing the company’s extensive service management center network which spans the globe through hubs in Houston, Shanghai, Bangalore, Warsaw, Auckland, Sydney, and Buenos Aires. The report also highlighted Futurestep’s experience in multi-country RPO.
In 2011, Futurestep:
- Signed six new RPO deals, increasing its client base to 23
- Posted over 200 percent growth in the number of hires managed
- Posted approximately 35 percent FTE growth
“At Futurestep we are incredibly proud of our ability to deliver talent with impact. Leveraging the extensive IP of the Korn/Ferry business, we offer clients the most advanced recruitment tools and processes available in addition to the expertise of the best recruiting professionals in our industry,” commented Byrne Mulrooney, CEO, Futurestep. “Recognition such as this is fantastic vindication of the market-leading work the team does and this focus on this core area of our business in the last 12 months. Moving ahead we will continue to focus on delivering outstanding global RPO solutions for our clients.”
Everest Group’s research examined the dynamics of the global RPO market, which in 2011 was worth USD $1.4 billion in annualized spend and grew by more than 25 percent – making it one of the fastest growing single process markets in human resources outsourcing.
Everest Group vice president and co-author of the report Rajesh Ranjan added: “Futurestep demonstrated strong advancements, both in terms of market success and delivery capability, to be recognized as a ‘Star Performer.’ Its global delivery footprint coupled with significant investment in recruitment technology has enabled it to be amongst few providers with capability and experience of providing large multi-country RPO on its own. ”
