The IT Job Board signs deal with Affiliate Window

UKís biggest IT specialist recruitment site increases its reach to tech community

In a bid to further increase its distribution, The IT Job Board, www.theitjobboard.co.uk <http://www.theitjobboard.co.uk> , has launched an affiliate programme with Affiliate Window, the leading UK affiliate Network.

This will enable The IT Job Board to increase its reach to IT pros, grow brand awareness and drive applications. It will also help to underpin the company’s bid to be the UK’s leading IT job board.

Since 2000, Affiliate Window has been dedicated to the growth and development of the affiliate market place, ensuring that affiliate marketing becomes part of an integrated marketing mix for its merchants. Today, the Affiliate Window network handles over 900 merchants – ranging from blue chip brands such as British Airways, John Lewis, and Vodafone to niche retailers.

This deal is part of a wider affiliate programme being driven by The IT Job Board’s marketing team. In recent months, the company has also signed partnerships with TechRadar and The Register – where it powers the sites’ IT jobs function.

Commenting on the programme, Jamie Bowler, head of marketing for The IT Job Board, said:

“We recognised that one of the fastest and most effective ways to increase our distribution was via an affiliate channel. This will help us to connect with the IT community across different publisher sites.

“The cost per application model will work well for our business and help to drive an incremental increase in applications. We look forward to announcing further distribution channels as we look to continue to accelerate our growth”

Claire Theobald, head of account development at Affiliate Window, commented: “We are excited about the recent launch of The IT Job Board affiliate programme and are already seeing results through the channel. My team will be working closely with the merchant, consulting on various optimisation methods and ensuring that the right affiliates are brought onboard.”
