Following impressive growth over the past 12 years and with plans to further expand into new International territories, the need for a more scalable website solution was coming to light.
Darwin selected HotLizard as its new web partner because of the team’s ability to produce high performing, yet cost effective, websites that deliver results. The main aim of the project was to seamlessly incorporate the new website as a key element in Darwin’s marketing strategy going forward.
Based on HotLizard’s proven Gecko platform, Darwin’s new website incorporates content in both English and Dutch, supporting the recent penetration into the Netherlands market.
In addition to the core Gecko features, Darwin’s website has taken a more creative approach by including dynamic calls to action, such as revolving testimonials and featured jobs, as well as additional banner slots to maximise the prominence of jobs by email and the job search.
With the rise in social media and mobile in recruitment over recent years, catering for these trends was paramount to this project. HotLizard has delivered a mobile version of the site and included the ability for users to share job content via their social media profiles; helping raise awareness of Darwin’s well known and ever growing brand.
