Yell appoints UK head of learning and development

Yell today announced the appointment of Nikki Hood as head of learning and development.

Nikkiís role will be to manage the strategic direction of learning and development opportunities for employees in the UK arm of the international directories business.

Nikki, 31, will be based in the FTSE 100ís Slough office, head a team of five specialists and report to Phil Barr, head of HR.

Phil Barr said: ìI am delighted to welcome Nikki to the team. She is highly qualified and brings relevant industry experience to ensure learning and development is closely aligned to meet future business needs.î

Prior to joining Yell in July, Nikki held a similar role at Thomson Directories and started her career within training at Lunn Polyís head office.
