Work Group plc, the AIM-quoted recruitment services group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sue Craven to its Board.
Sue Craven (44) is currently Managing Director of Armstrong Craven Limited, Europeís leading executive research company, and a trading division of Work Group, which acquired Armstrong Craven in October 2005.
Following the acquisition of RCC HR last month, Work Group is also taking the opportunity to organise the company into four instead of three divisions, with the Advertising and Communications (ìAdcommsî) business divided into Work Regions and Work London. This is in addition to Work Resourcing and Armstrong Craven.
Sue Cravenís appointment to the Board will formally take effect from 1st January 2007, when she will assume the role of Group Managing Director, responsible for two of Work Groupís four trading divisions - Work Resourcing and Work London. Steve Halford, Workís other Group Managing Director, will assume responsibility for Work Regions and Armstrong Craven.
At Armstrong Craven, Sue Cravenís role will be taken by Matthew Mellor, who is currently Operations Director. Camilla Dyson, the current Finance Director, becomes Chief Operating Officer.
Work Group Executive Chairman, Simon Howard, said:
ìWe are delighted to welcome Sue onto the main Board. Her appointment further reinforces the value of the Armstrong Craven acquisition. The changes illustrate the strength in depth we have within the Groupís management, which places us in an even stronger position for continued growth.î
