Women returners - Crone Corkhill the exception rather than the rule!

A recent poll by Monster found that only 17% of workers felt that their employers did everything they could to encourage women back to work

A recent poll by Monster found that only 17% of workers felt that their employers did everything they could to encourage women back to work. Innovative office support recruiter Crone Corkill is proud to stand out as the exception rather than the rule.

ìAt Crone Corkill, we understand career breaks, part time and flexible working practices should not disadvantage employees in any way. We feel so strongly about this that weíve ensured it forms part of our diversity charterî says Tracy Durrant, Managing Director of Crone Corkill. ìAs a two time returner myself, I have experienced the benefit first hand of working for an accommodating, forward thinking employer and as MD, I am well aware of the business benefits of encouraging women to return after a career break. We have had 14 babies born to employees in the business over the last year, with these numbers retention is key ñ we would struggle as a business if we failed to retain this enormous bank of talent.î

Crone Corkill has a fully enabled ëremote workingí IT system which allows the company to accommodate employees requests to work from home. Tracy, herself a mother of two, has been instrumental in developing family friendly policies in order to retain key talent. ìAs a consequence we have a 75% return rate from maternity leaveî she says.
