Wisdomnet to receive national recognition

The Boppy Company and WisdomNet Inc. win award and featured in National Book Release

WisdomNet Inc. and its client, The Boppy Company, are recognized today as ìleaders in the field of global workforce strategy.î

The two Colorado-based companies received the The Global Workforce award, given by Linkage Inc., recognizing practitioners and their companies that have used innovation and thorough strategy to manage their national and international workforce. Released today, a case study outlining the award-winning work is featured in Best Practices in Leading the Global Workforce (Linkage Press: 2004, Carter, Louis; Harkins, Phil; Sobol, Mark - http://www.linkageinc.com/research_products/gwf_book_companies.aspx).

Linkage, Inc. is a global organizational development company that specializes in leadership development for the public and private sectors.

The Boppy Company is the Golden-based manufacturer of the Boppy nursing and infant support pillow which has been named the number one baby product for three years in a row. They hired WisdomNet, a consulting and technology firm, to orchestrate an offshore outsourcing plan.

WisdomNet performed a careful systems analysis, called right-shoring. The result: Boppy brought back approximately 25 jobs to the U.S. and saw a significant impact on the bottom line.
