New Year just wouldnít be the same without the New Yearís Honours List. Of course, we mean the Westaff Honours Club, which has just announced that five exceptional members of the Westaff team have been invited to join its ranks with the onset of 2008Ö.
Pam Gale, Sue Carson, Lynn Stimpson, Rebecca Robb and Fiona Ruskin have all been recognised for their hard work and inspirational performance across 2007. And, these top achievers and their partners will be joining UK Managing Director, David Mogford for a celebratory ëall expensesí paid dinner and overnight accommodation at Raymond Blancís two-starred, Michelin restaurant - Le Manoir Aux Quatí Saisons ñ in the very near future.
The scheme is now in its second year and proving highly successful for Westaff as a reward and recognition initiative. Honours Clubí members are chosen from across the entire team ñ whether sales, administration, financial or office support - in recognition of the commitment and significant contribution that an individual has made to the business. Members are encouraged to mentor colleagues and invited to attend senior management meetings for the year ñ giving them the invaluable opportunity to input into high level discussions on a quarterly basis relating to all aspects of the business, including its growth and performance.
David Mogford, Managing Director of Westaff, said:
ìWestaff Honours Clubî is here to recognise, thank and reward the hard work of individuals throughout the year across the business as a whole. As individuals, we all like to be appreciated for the input we make and it is important for us to provide encouragement and incentive to those who deserve it. We can then support their personal development further through giving them unique business insights and the opportunity to participate in management decisions that the company may be making.î
Westaff Honours Club is an integral part of the business, explains Mogford: ìWe expect the year ahead to be demanding and challenging and have ambitious plans to meet for 2008 which means we need the full support and commitment of the team. Itís a two-way street ñ those that perform and exceed expectation will be rewarded as the company reaps the benefit.î
Sue Carson, who is one of the recipients of this yearís Honours Clubí award, said:
ìI genuinely do feel honoured and very proud of the achievement. The awards are great for morale and friendly competition. We all like to have our hard work appreciated and the Honours Club does just that. And, I am thrilled to be getting the chance to try out Raymond Blancís restaurant ñ it is certainly going to be a food experience!î
Who's up for a new year's honour...!
