The Business Connection has presented an outstanding candidate with The Temporary Worker of the Year 2007 Award for the 6th year running. Kirsty Craig, Managing Director of Chesterís most highly regarded recruitment agency, presented the award to Clinton Mick from The Business Connectionís Lower Bridge Street offices.
Clinton Mick, 36, signed up with The Business Connection in June 2006 and was quickly found an administrative position within MBNA. Clinton, originally from Australia, moved to the UK in May 2006 and has worked in Chester for 18 months.
Kirsty Craig said:
ìWe are very proud of Clint. His ëcan doí attitude and lively personality are great attributes for anyone looking to succeed in employment. This award recognises Clintís consistent effort within his work and his excellent customer service skills. The Business Connection regards its temps as ambassadors for the agency and the Award for Temps was started to celebrate their successes.
We very much see our role for temps at The Business Connection as finding great opportunities for them, whilst matching their best skills to the work in hand. It is very much about keeping everyone happy; clients and temps!î
Clinton Mick added:
ìIíve learnt a lot and met some great people whilst working through The Business Connection. I have learnt that there are some really good temp agencies out there like The Business Connection and I have also developed the skills to resolve very difficult telephone calls from customers, more so than in any other job Iíve ever done before. It has made me stronger as a Customer Service Rep and improved my admin skills.
I would also like to thank The Business Connection for all for the support and understanding theyíve shown me over the past 18 months. You guys really do put your customers and staff first! From payroll to anyone answering the phones there, you have a great team!î
