VMA Group Northern Division open for business

VMA Group, the specialist corporate communications search and selection consultancy, has officially opened its Northern Division this week with offices in the centre of Manchester.

This move reflects the growing market for corporate communications professionals outside of the South East area, as an increasing number of blue chip companies, as well as public and voluntary sector bodies, relocate their Head Offices and key functions away from London. In addition, several leading PR and communications consultancies have offices in cities such as Manchester and Leeds. While VMA Group has always operated on a UK-wide basis, there is a clear need for specialist communications expertise to service this client and candidate base closer to home.

Lucinda Barber joined VMA in October 2006 to head up its Northern Division from a Manchester based marketing communications recruitment consultancy. Since October she has been establishing herself in the office as well as meeting a number of high profile clients in the region.
