Vangent, Inc., a leading provider of results-oriented human capital and talent management solutions, announced that it has named Steven McNair as Vice President, Strategic Alliances of its Human Capital division

Vangent, Inc., a leading provider of results-oriented human capital and talent management solutions, announced that it has named Steven McNair as Vice President, Strategic Alliances of its Human Capital division. McNair will utilize his 15-year career in business development and alliance building within the human capital industry to lead the partnership expansion efforts of the company.

In his new role, McNair is responsible for leading channel sales efforts, strategic partnerships, and distribution programs for Vangent's Human Capital division. Leveraging his strategic planning expertise, McNair will work with partners to devise innovative approaches to further extend and increase the value of Vangent's human capital solutions.

Prior to joining Vangent, McNair served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Wanted Technologies Corp., a leader in sales and competitive intelligence within the Recruitment Advertising Industry. Within his seven-year tenure, he was responsible for developing the company's product-line and business-level strategies, and led the company through a period of rapid growth where revenues increased year over year by 90%, culminating in a successful IPO on the TSX-Venture Exchange in Canada.

Prior to Wanted Technologies, McNair was General Manager for TMP Worldwide, an internationally recognized Recruitment Communications Agency where he was responsible for 12M in media-sales, and personally directed the creation of recruitment and retention campaigns for companies such as Air Canada, Bombardier, Softimage, CIBC, Royal Bank of Canada, and DMR-Fujistu. McNair began his career in recruitment and assessment solutions with Reid Psychological Systems where he developed relationships with the Top 100 in Canada, and increased sales by 200%. McNair attended McGill University, where he earned a degree in Management, with a concentration in Human Resources and Industrial Relations.
