Valtera is pleased to announce that its thought leaders made significant contributions to the recently released book entitled, Alternative Validation Strategies: Developing New and Leveraging Existing Validity Evidence.
The book, a compendium of current research and thinking on creative approaches to employment test validation, was edited by S. Morton McPhail, Ph.D., a Sr. Vice President and Managing Principal with Valtera. It offers employers cost-effective ways to draw inferences from their selection procedures while meeting stringent legal and regulatory requirements. In addition to Dr. McPhailís work, the book contains chapters from other Valtera senior scientists including Nancy T. Tippins, Ph.D., Julie A. Caplinger, M.A., and Damian J. Stelly, Ph.D., as well as many other leading experts in the field from both academia and practice.
Valtera has a long history of advancing the field of assessment science,î said William H. Macey, CEO of Valtera, who co-authored one of the bookís chapters. ìWeíre extremely proud that our consultants are continually involved in state-of-the-art research and publication.î
Published by Jossey-Bass as part of its Professional Practice Series for the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), the book may be purchased online at www.josseybass.com or www.siop.org.
