At a time when many businesses are shelving expansion plans The Ultimate Recruitment Company is bucking the trend and expanding fast with a view to become a leading recruitment consultancy in the UK.

Launching the business in October 2007 in Edinburgh under the management of MD Sarah Kay, just nine months later the business now has busy offices in Glasgow, London and Fleet and serves employers and candidates in a wide range of industries including Accountancy and Finance, Hospitality and Leisure, Banking, PA & Secretarial, and Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management.

Ultimate Recruitment has invested in state of the art CV recognition software, and has developed a networked system which links all Ultimate Recruitment offices in Scotland and England and allows them all free access to the candidate database.

Home working, flexible hours and outsourcing partnerships all help to build a highly motivated and committed workforce.

The companyís Chairman is Roddy Watt, founder and former Chief Executive of AIM listed Berkeley Scott Group. Watt says,

ìHaving previously built a market leading, multi-million pound recruitment business in Berkeley Scott, I am tremendously excited at the opportunities that present themselves at a time of consolidation in our industry.î

The Companyís MD, Bill Brace, has left Reed Employment to join Ultimate Recruitment and is also upbeat about the future. Brace comments,

ìI am tremendously excited by the opportunity of building a market-leading recruitment enterprise in the UK. The team and I combine to offer a wealth of solid recruitment experience as all the team fulfilled management roles within market-leading recruiters Reed, The Berkeley Scott Group and others. We are really looking forward to launching this new force in the UK recruitment sector.î

With sound financial backing, a pedigree management team, and a challenging time in the UK economy, the next twelve months should be a period of great opportunity and challenge.
