Two New Contracts in the Bag for Clarico!

Leading logistics resources and training provider, Clarico is celebrating winning two new contracts this month

Leading logistics resources and training provider, Clarico is celebrating winning two new contracts this month.

The Manchester-based business has secured recruitment contracts with two Yorkshire based food companies - Topping Pie Company and MSM Foods.

The contracts, which are worth a total of £180,000, have created 25 new temporary jobs in Yorkshire, many of which are likely to become permanent roles.

Clarico is split into three divisions, providing training, recruitment and logistics services to businesses of all sizes throughout the UK.

The company was founded in 2007 and is the most successful business to be set up through the Prince’s Trust Programme, the youth charity which supports young people in starting businesses and finding jobs.

Clarico has bases in Manchester, Barnsley, Swindon, Rotherham, Bury, Liverpool and Bradford – a list which is likely to be added to in the near future.

The resources provider is currently working with huge names including Aldi, FedEx and City Link to provide them with fully qualified drivers and high spec vehicles. Working as delivery partners, Clarico is keeping more big names on the road than any of its competitors.

Mark Livsey, Director of Clarico Ltd, explained: “We’re absolutely thrilled with Clarico’s recent contract wins. In an industry as fast paced as food manufacturing it is incredibly important for businesses like Topping Pie Company and MSM Foods to employ the team.

“The business is growing very healthily and we’re looking forward to branching out into further geographical areas in the near future.”
